About Us

The Church is the people!  Grace Church is a community dedicated to common worship and common effort.  We are diverse in age, experience, and point of view, but we all love being Episcopalians.

Being an Episcopalian means that one is part of something larger than just our parish church.  Grace Church is a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina and thereby a member of The Episcopal Church, which includes not only the United States, but also Columbia, Honduras, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and the Convocation of American Churches in Europe.  The Episcopal Church is voluntarily a province and part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, headquartered in Canterbury, England.

Listen to Fr. Matthew Moretz, of St. Paul’s, Yonkers, NY,

explain how many Episcopalians understand the Church.
